Got a game in against steve54's codex list
Tacticals + hunter, razorback, supcom Scouts + razorback Scouts + razorback Speeders Spaceship Devs Terminators + chaplain Thunderhawk Thunderhawk Warhound Warhound Tbolts
I decided to go for a mobile IF force:
Tacticals +hunter, supcom, vindicator Terminators + chaplain Whirlwinds Scouts + razorback Scouts + razorback Speeders Vindicators + 2 vindicators Thunderfires Predators (annihilators) Storm Talons Hyperios Hyperios
No pics unfortunately, operating my camera with my knackered wrists is pretty uncomfortable, plus we didnt have much time.... I'm sorry and will do better next time!
Barrage hit whirlwinds and preds killing two and one respectively, deathwind mostly missed, killing a couple of scouts and a rhino nearby, devs engaged vindicators but were destroyed for no loss (4 hits, 4 saves, vindies get 5 hits, 3 saved)
Rest of the turn was spent positioning, thunderhawk assaulted BTS and took one point of damage from 3 hyperios, hunter and CAP-ing stormtalons.... broke bts with supcom, rhino and vindicator escaping, lost two termies in the engagement
Turns 2-3 were spent damaging formations, I pushed into steve's half finally, nobody could push the win T3 so we went to t4, steve camped on my blitz and hyperios shot a thawk down (woo!) My vindicators engaged his scouts holding the t&h objectives and won by loads, stormtalon broke speeder blitz guard and scouts engaged and destroyed hos supcom, his thawk failed to activate so I took it 3-2 on turn 4 (BTS, Blitz, T&H vs Blitz, BTS)
Hyperios are massively better with 45cm range and actually justify their inclusion in the army, enlarged vindicator formation were great, destroying devs, damaging and breaking a warhound then killing a scout fornation, well worth their points
