I got so into the game that I put the camera down about halfway into turn one.

Eventually I'd give playtesting a shot, but I'm really a noob right now, so I don't think my feedback would be of much value. I'm still trying to figure out how to play...

Excellent terrain and my two favourite armies facing off against each other is good. Some more details would have been the icing on the cake though. Can you remember what was in each army? |

(I figured out later that I should have bought demonic pact for the Chaos Altar formation, but it didn't matter as no daemons were summoned during the game...) I was really happy with the Plague Tower and Contagion Towers--these units can really lay down some firepower! Next time, though, I'll be fielding mixed Cultist/Mutant units instead of just one or the other. The Mutants didn't make it into many assaults. I like the theme . It just goes to show what can be put together from the list in terms of a coherent force for LatD using the official list.I've sadly never had the opportunity to use Nurgle Daemon Engines, but I have read reports about how effective they are. I suspect, although I'm only guessing, that the main problem that you encountered with this list against the Eldar was being outmanoeuvred? |

Yes, that was one issue, but the indirect fire of the basilisks and towers helped with that somewhat. The other issue was my noobishness.. I didn't assault effectively with all of the close combat troops I had. Next time will be better. |
