Very nice, but a little off topic. I had a question about the nids to whoever paints them. If you spray them red, isn't it a hastle to get the bases painted black? Or is their a quick and easy way to paint the red sprayed bases?

Thx,
Blind-

Just a guess Blindhorizon, but I'd say the red Nids were probably sprayed red before they were based..

What are the wings from for the Harridan, Dave?

That table looks very open and bare. It must have been eaten by the Hive Mind already :D

I did end up airbrushing some of my bugs red before painting them (it saved a LOT of time). The basecoat for the bases is GW's Adeptus Battlegrey. I thin it a little bit to get it on there quicker, so long as it's not too thin it'll cover the red no problem. I think my warriors were the only stands where I thinned it too much.

Dobbsy, Harriot's wings are from a D&D Dire Bat model. Dirt cheap and after taking a knife to them they work pretty well I think.

The bugs had plenty of places to hide on the table, although the ones that rampaged through the "Ball Cancer Crystal Forest" are regretting it now.

I thought so but i looked at the primed models like the Exocrine, and saw their bases where red aswell so i thought their might be some nifty trick i could pick dave's mind for.
