Main battle started. My company tripled forward and took up a central position.
The stompaz lurched on and ended up between the hills.
If I remember right here I think the bombards doubled forward to pommel them somewhat.
Buggies surge forward, baneblade moves up as does the warband and the blitzerz move ahead.

The company moved left to get out of reach from a direct assault from the stompas and shoot up the blitz brigade to the left instead.
The stompas trundled over the knoll instead of straight ahead, probably a bit scared of the baneblade. Not sure why really, they where far stronger.
Blitzerz and Kulterz got chased of at jolly good speed. (Admittedly the bombards managed to fire both first and second turn. *slap on wrist*) but the bombards where down to two and a blast marker.
The baneblade got a shoot or three of on them stompaz.
And them evul stompaz got over the hill and layed down a hail at the company...

...followed up by the warband, finally arrived from their long and arduous trek across blighted sand...z.
The valiant and unbreakable baneblade (Wittman?) took up a supportive position in the middle to let both the company and the bombards take a well earned rest.
(Dang die! The company failed to rally twice!)

Warband broken, stompaz hiding behind the hill and kulterz down to nothing. The day was nearly lost for valiant Birka!
Two broken war truckz sneaked in from behind and found the blitz. Luckily enough they didn't manage to rally and saw their next move towards greener pastures than Birka regimental grounds...
At this point Tobbe conceded. With only 1'000 points it's usually a game of attrition. Sooner or later one has a fighting force, however beaten up, and the other one not.
My baneblade was unharmed and fearless, supported by company remnants and two bombards. Not much he could do really.
But all in all an enjoyable fight. Welcome Tobbe!
