Hello I am building an Ork Warhorde Net EA army and I am looking for solid 3000 points list. I have never played the game so it is a little harder for me to build it myself. Here is what I have: 36 boyz 12 nobz 12 grotz (for the infantry I have a little more than listed there, though not enough to make another warband) 6 stormboyz (can get 6 more) 5 big gunz (can get 5 more) 8 warbikes 16 battlewagons (can get 12 more) 5 stompas (I can convert one stompa to supa stompa) This isn't enough for good list, but adding some fighta bommerz or landa shouldnt be a problem. I hope you can help me |

Get more Stormboyz, a Supa Stompa, 16-24 Gunwagons 4-6 Flakwagons, 2 Landas and a few Fighta-Bombers and you're set! |

To be honest I alredy have 26 but I would like to save as many as possible for my Blood Axe project. Maling supa stompa wouldmt be a problem, gunwagons I can easily get from my friend and scratch-buuldimg some fight bommerz wouldnt be a problem. I just need to find food way to nake landas. Thanks! |

Thinking some inexpensive space toys appropriately gribbled up with pipes, hoses, plasticard panels, etc could work. |

Yeah Landas are amazing. Arguably the best transport flier in the game for the points. |

As you are learning the game i wouldn't worry much and try out what feels fine for you till you get experiene from some games. Miniatures so you can try out things isn't a issue either: first, what jimmyzimms said, you can make them easily with anything and will look good, and second, this game has the ''count as rule'' that lets you field similar proxies with few restrictions. The list itself is good. Except two formations (UGE Warbands and Gunzmobs) the rest is decent even for Tournaments if thats your goal, and the other two work for learning the game and can be good too (UGE Warbands are very good shoots sponges but weak to fireflights asssaults) if your adversary is new to the game too. |

Looking good. Agree with Albertillo. I use a list very similar though make my BTS formation stompas with a supa stompa. |

Really thank you for your opinion. I am trying to create rather nice ork list to see what models I will need. Luckily as you (and jimmyzimms) have said they can be easily made from scratch. Another good thing iz that I have almost all the models needed with some exeptions and have a lot infantry so I shouldnt worry about it (I am still worried though). What would yoy suggest instead og Gunzmob ang 'Uge Warband? |

First, read this if you haven't: viewtopic.php?f=95&t=18429 If you don't go to tournaments anything is good except more than one UGE formation. The best UGE are Kults with Buggies and Skorchas. Even Gunzmobs can be good for Blitz Objective guard if you play an scenario with objectives or even for crazy things as the Ork list is the one that gives you the most freedom on lists with Space Marines second. As an example I played some weeks ago with a list full of Gunzmobs and was quite fun, and won with it also. If i remember well it was: - 1 BIG Gunzmob with 2 Odd and 2 Nobz for BTS and for protecting the Warboss. - 11 formations of Normal Gunzmobs - 1 Normal Kult - 2 Stormboyz - 2 Normal Blitz - 3 formations of Fightas But this would go very bad on tournaments, is more for fun. Which gets me to the next point. If you plan for tournaments, and want to win games in them: - The more formations the better. Forget about BIG and UGE except for Kults and maybe a single BIG Blitz Brigade with 2 SoopaGunz. Even if they feel fragile. 10-12 formations is the minimum. - Forget about upgrades except the Supa-Stompa, Fightas, and the extras to fill the landa. - Put more Fightas and Kults. Speed is king in this game (that's why GunzMobs are worse options for most situations), and Fightas give you the very needed capacity to strike deeply that Orks lack. - A Gargant or 3 Stompas + Supa-Stompa can be good too for having an sturdy BTS. |
