I saw an interesting Ork list for an upcoming tourney in Australia and it got me thinking about one of the rules for the Ghazgkhull army list. Quote: SPECIAL RULE - Warlord Every Ork army must include a Supreme Commander character called a Warlord. The Warlord character is free; you don’t have to pay any points for it. If the army includes any Great Gargant, then the Warlord must be placed in one of them. If there are no Great Gargants in the army then the Warlord will join a Nobz or a Gargant unit. So, every Ghazgkhull list MUST include a free Supreme Commander. That part is fine. But what happens if you don't have a Great Gargant, Gargant or Nobz in your army? Can he join any unit you want? This particular list had him joining a Big Stompa detachment with a Supa Stompa. This would be a great way to help shed blast markers and give that Supa Stompa an extra MW attack! Then it got me thinking, can I then put him in a Blitz Brigade? One Gunwagon for the Oddboy, one for the Warlord? If someone would be able to confirm that this is the right interpretation, I'd be most appreciative! Thanks, Joel |

Hi! from the FAQ: Q: Can the Ork Warlord join any Ork unit if you do not have a Gargant in your army? A: The Ork Warlord has to join a Greater Gargant if you are fielding one. If there is not a Greater Gargant in the army then the Warlord Character can be added to any Nobz or Gargant unit. Conceivably if your army has no Nobz or Gargant units then it could join any Ork unit cheers, |

I find it sad he can't go in a Supastompa or Stompa rather than a Nobz unit... |

If the choice was hanging out with the Nobz or commandeering a Stompa, I do feel that the more Orky thing would be to go f8r the biggest, most flamboyant stompiest option. It should go: Mega Gargant > Great Gargant > Gargant > Supa Stompa > Stompa > Nobz |

Hena wrote: I always thought that Stompas were for Mekboys who didn't find enough stuff to create Gargants. Thus no self-respecting warlord would be caught in one  .I'd probably pass on the stompas myself, but a SupaStompa would be a slick ride for an aspiring world destroying Warlord. |
