This should probably go in 28mm gaming, but I thought Epic Ork players would get a kick out of it. If it needs to be moved then feel free.

And that should read "STOMPA" but you knew what I meant!  :glare:

It will bulk up my bits box for sure!

While the model isn't on par with some of the exceptional work done by the community, it is still far, far better than most of the Stompas that get scrapped together.

I think the real "gold" in this kit is the fact that it will provide the basis for a multitude of good builds down the road.

Stoma-tastic! I like to see totally impractical mega units creep into 40K it suggests someone has Epic yearnings. I think new rules for a God Gargant would have to be invented. Perhaps this is an Ork response to being Plasma-ed once to often by an Imperitor.

I think it's probably a case of 1.people wanting to play with more models and 2. GW wanting to sell more models.

I forget who it is, but someone has a signature that reads something like,"Epic, what Cities of Death wants to be when it grows up."

I always thought that signature kicked ass.  8v)

Transplant that kit into EA and I see a solid base model for the Ork version of a Hive City. :vD

Some superdetailing, a mess of towers, and swarms of Hiveorks...hrmmm...

I know some guy who has had a sig that says "Epic: What Apoc wants to be when it grows up..".  Oddly, it links to this very board.

Yes, I agree ... 40K scale models sell much better than Epic scale ... and G/W can sell large, amazingly expense models ...   Of course ... my question is ... where do you play a 40K scale game full of huge models ?
