Big mek can add kustom bitz to a unit.

A stompa is a unit, and the big mek can be added to the stompa mob formation

Big Mek bit: Grot Targeters allows you to give AA5+ to the big gunz of a unit

Can it be done? and more importantly, since a Stompa can carry three big gunz, does that giv e me three AA5+ attacks?

I wish that was the case!  Suped-up Stompas would be cool!

Read the Notes section on the Big Mek data sheet:

Notes: Character, Leader, Adds one Big Mek Kustom Bitz option to a single War Engine or Big
Gun unit
in the formation that the Big Mek is attached to.

There goes that conversion idea...
How am I meant to have a stompa covered in little Gatlings now?
Such a pity, would have been more thematic then having three flak tracks in with the slow hammers of doom.

I think the only issue with house rules would be...

Is 125 points too cheap for 4+RA, AV, 3x45cm AA5+.
