Found this here on Warseer.

Apparently the Epic Stompa is called a Ruzzbot in this chart and the Wh40k Apocalypse Stompa ist the Stompa.

It's a nice chart (I've seen it before), but it is fanmade rather than produced by GW as far as I know ('crawlas' appear to be largely an invention of this chart, barring a small reference I remember from the E:A rulebook about submarine crawlas).

Effectively, the W40k 'Stompa' is in fact what we know as a Supa Stompa (It's a DC-4 Gargant style War Engine in both systems, with similar weapon options in both).

If / when Epic has its next edition, it'll doubtless fall into line with this latest rejig of the background.

Interestingly, an option exists for the W40k Stompa to be a MekStompa, essentially marking the return of the Mekboy Gargant that we know and love.

I remember seeing this, too. Shouldn't Ruzzbot be Runtbot?

The Grotnoughts are missing too.

Shouldn't they be called 'Grotgants'? They're grot-scale gargants, after all!

In the OGBM they are describet as smaller than Stompas but having DC2.

I'm confused by how a small downwards force prevents the Savage Gunships weapons from firing.  I know Ork tech is crude, but I didn't think it was that crude.

Also I had always tought the the Krawlers were referanced to as the Orks Giga subs been converted and given tracks. (or was that in the OMGB fuff?)

For recoil the answer is simple: Many people don't understand that there is recoil in space. And that the concussive shockwave of the weapon still occurs.

On Grotnaughts: I'd suggest Grotgants because the description claims that they're basically grot-built attempts at gargants, but because Grots are very small (Like a third the size of an Ork) they're also much smaller then gargants. Plus, I think the idea of a grot-gargant is awesome!

That's Krooza's chart.

The Ruzzbot has no counterpart in EA.  Apparently, it's not uncommon for some of the 40K Ork Konvershun community to use an imperial vehicle, like a Leman Russ, as the basis for a conversion into a "walker" like a small stompa (Russ + robot + orkified spelling = Ruzzbot).

All the other bits are based on the Epic models and/or background descriptions, but mostly the models unless something like the Krawla which has no model.

I thought this chart was jut Kroozas personal size reference board for his various models. The Ruzzbot was just a conversion he did based on a Leman Russ so the relative sizes and names of th other names hould still be good. Or is there some new fluff in Apocalypse I haven't read? ???

If you look closely you will see that the Ruzzbot is the Epic Stompa from the current range.
The ting what is called a Stompa in Wh40k is an entirely new construct.

And in BFG ALL Spaceships can fire their weapons in the atmosphere aka as Low Orbit.

The Subermsibles Ghazgkhull used on Armageddon where converted Gigatankers. Using an Ork Landa with tracks would be a bit too small to represent one :) But it would look cool :D
