Hey Guys,

I am running CANCON in Jan 2014. I have been approached by Onyx to include the Iron Warriors list in the tournament. At this stage I am using the Compendium and the NETEA Tournament pack for the event.

What I would like to know is if the IW will be in the 2013 Compendium and when this will be released. I would like to include the list in the tournament and I know it has been used in Onyx's competitions in the West. The list has been tested and has BATREPS up on the boards. I intend to use the list myself for a play test and will provide a BATREP support what Onyx is doing.

Can I get some advice from the committee on this so I can move forward.

Cheers
Aaron

As a list which I have played against I don't find it over powered.

The Ordinatus might be overpowered, but I have not faced it enough to be able to confirm this or not.

Hopefully, Steve54 will be along to give the official Chaos Army Champ perspective.

As has been seen, we've used the list competitively here in Perth, with little trouble.
The Ordinatus barrage has been reduced from 10BP to 9BP (only 2BM's placed instead of 3 + Disrupt hits - this was mainly to avoid auto-breaking 3DC war engines).
Of course, I am biased :D

The change from 10 BP to 9 was very significant in reducing the ordinatus effect on the battlefield.

The list is definitely going to be in the new compendium, I'll get back to you on release date. I'd have no concerns about the list for tournament use, re the compendium I'd expect the IW to be developmental in this form wiyh, at this rate, being finished in 2014

Steve,

Thank you, in will add it in to the lists for the tournament. How are you going with that release date for the compendium, I would like to load it with the tournament pack for players to download.

Cheers
Aaron
