Looks very interesting. But shouldn't be the two "OR" weapons of the Sieglord 0-2 choices? It feels odd that he can take only 3 weapons.

1 x Powerclaw OR 1 x Ironfist Assault Pod

Isn't there also a Gatling blaster and Tail weapon.

Looks like a very interesting list, I know there are a few IW fans that will be interested in it.

Excellent to finally see an Iron Warriors list moving forwards.

Isn't the Ordinatus basically the Ordinatus Mars without the AA shot?
(Or isn't that on the online version yet, heh)

How about swapping it out for a new Ordinatus?

IIRC didn't the Iron Warriors end aquiring some massive artillery pieces that were basically Ordinatus Siege Cannons in one of the Horus Heresy books?

It mightn't be a stretch to say they still have the same kind of indirect firing "artillery" ordinatus engine available?

Yes they did. IIRC they look like Protoss Reavers from Starcraft and are armed with one or two Vulcan Megabolters and a big siege cannon.

Are there any recommendations of what is more suitable.

Excellent stuff Steve!

I quite like the ORDINATUS CHAOTICA - HORUS PATTERN myself. The stats suit an Iron Warriors Siege style quite well.
I'm really looking forward to taking this list for a spin but it might have to wait until our campaign is finished (or I'll lose focus on my Necrons).

Why no Warhound Titan equivalent?

*Edit - The Iron Warriors Terminators look GREAT. IC FF and EA+1 MW Close combat. They may be worth a little more than standard Terminators. Also the mix of Teleporting Terminators and effective artillery is going to be interesting. Both MUST be allowed in an Iron Warriors army to keep it themed but I'm sure someone will complain :) .

**Another edit - I think it should be stipulated that Artillery that take emplacements must be deployed in the emplacement. I've seen Krieg armies take emplacements and then put other units in them. It seems a little gamey to me.

I concur with E&C, it's great to see the IW on the move.

Anyone else think that this formation could be cheaper?

Without Indirect Fire, 350 pnts just seems like a big points sink.

yeah, i'd think 300 would be a better jumping-off point for them

Thanks for the upbeat response+feedback

Terminators - I agree they might need a points increase in time

Ordinatus - the HH book (Fallen Angels?) is the inspiration for it. I'll dig the book out today and check the weapon as its some time since I wrote that out.

Daemonic artillery - would they be better with indirect or is there enough indirect already?

Wahounds - I left them out to try and avoid the ubiquitous fast WEs that most lists end up using if they are available to them. Also there is no reference to them in Storm oF Iron where a large titan contingent is used. Furthermore the idea of the list is that it is for storming a fortress and I thought warhounds wouldn't really fit that.

Emplacements - Indeed a note that their formation must be deployed in them would be a good idea

If not, I think 300-325 points would be good starting point for these engines.
