Without waffling on to long, I hereby produce the rough PDF (i.e. still in need of some format correction) of the first of four Fallen Titan legions, the Legio Mortis - very much looking for input on how to add the Dies Irae to the list, it will of course be a 0-1 unit.

Edit: The PDF has been updated to be more playtest (and printer) friendly.

Looks interesting!

I think you're going to clarify how the "Blight Missile" works... is each Plague Zombie produced a formation of its own, does it affect only infantry, etc.

A good effort, but I'd request that no colour or extensive shading be used in a playtest/experimenat document; such "frills" really waste a lot of ink/toner.

Thanks!

Aye, I wanted to get a viewable list out first, I'm working through it at the moment cutting out the colors and making it more printer friendly.

Uhmm...the Dies Irae is the equivalent of a Special Charakter. I would just put in an Abominatus as Emperor Class Titan and not a named one.

And i would prefer the Legio Mortis as Khorne dedicated as there is a already named Nurgle Titan Legion: the Festering Deaths.

And yellow and grey? The Legio Mortis is black with red trims (again this fits Khorne much better than Nurgle).

Chaos Emperor Titans are rare...and by rare, I meen really really really really rare - and if there's any type of unit in the EA game that deserves a 'Special Character' status, its named Titans - I'm specifically avoiding generic Titans because 'Special Characters' gives me the ability to have Emperors in the list but maintain limited numbers in a way that does not cause too much whining along the lines of 'BUT THE AMTL LIST HAS THEM'.

Also, list is clearly stated to represent all Titans of Nurgle in a generic fashion, simply the main focus of the lists background is the Legio Mortis - which are devotees of Nurgle in the current background - the Festering Death is mentioned elsewhere and I've allways considered the 'colors' of the Traitor Legions to be pre-heresy recordings, the bulk of the knowledge we have of the currently existing Titans is that they've long since been mutated into the colors of their gods - hense why we have a generic 'rotting flesh' color across 90% of Nurgle Followers - in the end of the day, its just the Legion I chose for the fluffpieces as personal preference and no way forces you to use this list as Legio Mortis if you'd rather not.

Looking like an excellent and characterful start.

Comments:

- Hellblades, stats and points costs should probably be those found in the playtest stats pinned in this sub-forum. Same for Helltalons.

- The Daemontitan rule allows you to summon D3 Daemons via teleport once per game. Are these Daemons part of a seperate formation? Do they stay around for the rest of the battle or disappear at the end of the turn like the Daemons in the Black Legion army list?

- Devestation class cruiser is probably too cheap by 25/50pts

- Plaguemaw cannon is a bit better than a Free weapon system, possibly should be +15pts if you're game for non-25pt divisions.

- Blight Drone Hive, possibly not a good idea to have Blight Drones and Blight Drone Hives doing two entirely seperate things in the list. I like the concept though.

- Terminus Howitzer could easily go to +50pts and still be very worthwhile.

- Morbus Cannon does not specify what kind of attack it is. BP? Couldn't find a points cost for the Morbus Cannon.

- Blight Missile, needs to state whether created units are all part of one new formation, or several new formations. Can it affect Necrons? Tyranids? Possibly best to leave this Special Rule out of things for that reason. Could have the weapon simply create 7 Zombie units (Nurgle's number) in the impact crater after the shot has been fired.

- Blight Drones, I believe the rumoured weapon set for the Blight Drone is very different to your stats.

- Ah I see that summoned Daemons are to form a new formation, but only through inference due to the 'Daemontitans and the Summoning Pool' rule. That rule belongs at the begining of the document, not halfway though, as it is an actual rule, not a clarification.

- Due to the scarcity of Daemontitans, having only D3 summon points per Daemontitan means you'll likely only get a couple of Daemons, total, into the game. Not very EPIC. :)

Overall the list has some brilliant ideas and I'm impressed by the ammount of cool background text you've written for it already.

Blight Drone Weapon set was fudged with the best intentions as I only had the model to work out, if someone could PM me the rumored weapons then it would go a long way to fixing them.

One thing I can say with certainty from a quick glance is that a 40 point formation that can lay BMs is broken.  No testing required.

I'll check out the rest later.

Blight Drone Swarm - Four Blight Drones - 40 points

I assume that HAS to be a typo.

Guess we're already on to v1.0.1!

Heh I didn't spot that one.

With the weapon set found in the Red Corsairs list, we're working on the assumption of Blight Drones being with 50pts each. IIRC we went for 5 unit formations.

list looks good for how quick it was created. if memory serves me correctly legio mortis was largely individided but slowly began to fall to nurgle.

are you planning on eventually incorperating all the chaos gods into one lsit or will each god have their own army?
