Interesting alternatives for the kollossus, the walker looks awesome but the tracked version is more in keeping with squat praetorian style super heavies and could lead to some really nice minis/conversions. Are you seeing the chaos squats as using mostly tracked, or mostly walkers or a mix from a fluff perspective?
I much prefer that tracked train version, but I have to work with what I have. I would rather not detail what minis should be used, as the list should encourage those few people that may consider it, to model up their ideas. That is what kick-started me to tackle the Chaos Squats, the freedom to create. I would rather just give a set of stats and let people's imaginations go from there - but the realist in me tells me that people need a visual representation of the stats - hence the datafaxes.

For the Gladiator Transport what about something along the lines of a very heavily beefed up sikorsky skycrane (double width + armour plates) with transport 'cages' for gladiators held as cargo underneath?

It does look pretty thin and fragile however. In reality, my own will probably not look anything like a Chinook. It may actually look like Thunderbird 2 with two big propellers

Are the freebooterz still about?
No took them out at the last update to fill in the Malorcs.

For the orks, instead of having it directly from the ork list ( orks+nobz+grots) it might be easier just to abstract it to all ork boyz/malorks. The grots might have been pressed into service elsewhere as riggers on the war engines and the command stand for the formation could be modelled as nobz but otherwise treated the same. A few nobz could also be used on the large mutant stands.
I did play around with this idea. I came back to the reasoning why I took out the Khorne Berserkers - because I wanted to represent the Chaos Squats as an army and not just a warband. The initial orks were Freebooterz with a pirate ship and all! (thanks Morgan Vening), and then I had the standard Orks and thought about changing them up a bit. In the end I stuck with the Malorcs in their current incarnation. It will be interesting to see where development goes when/if people join in to contribute to the force

Also using 1620px long images is nasty for those of us on smaller monitors

Sorry. Will note this for next time
In any event, the Chaos Squats V1.0 will be released tomorrow. Stay tuned
