Then BL's suggestion of making the Festering Deaths into the Nurgle Legion seems much less open to question.

Here's a LINK to the BoLS's Legio Mortis sheet. That information dosn't support Nurgle either (probably not an official source but every little bit helps).

The list is written and appropriatley denotes that the list is perfectly suited to dooing other Legio's of Nurgle, hell the Festering Death gets a mention - but I'm not re-writing the background sections for it to suit some petty tastes to be vitally cruel and honest, the Dies Irae is out, which is fair enough in my opinion as that particular named Titan does have too many associations to the Deaths Heads, and this IS supposed to be adaptable to other Nurgle legions.

And Onyx, thats the ANCIENT Legio Mortis banners based off the original Adeptus Titanicus game, you'll find fluff has evolved quite a bit since then. Now can we focus less on which Legion should be the one used and more on the actual rules?

EDIT: correct version 1.0.1 is up (see first post), connection is on the jitters

Rule for Battle Tails are right underneath the weapons list

I've seen the rules for the Battle Tail.
But I haven't seen anywhere how a titan can be equiped with a Battle Tail. It's not a standard titan weapon allready in the titan profiles; and it's also not an (free or not) option in the army list.

Sorry for the Nurgle/Legio Mortis thing British.

Obviously I'm not up to date on all the latest info that you and E&C have - my mistake.
Anyone who's only read Storm of Iron would find it hard to picture Nurgle.

I agree with Flogus about the Bident. MW might be a little more palatable. Free TK attacks on a 30cm movement, WE seems very attractive to me  :wow:

Are the Blight Drone Swarm and the Blight Drone Hive the same thing?

Thanks for all your efforts for this list.

Cheers,
Steve.

If you will provide me with a more recent source than the Horus Heresy cardboard game that the Legio Mortis fell to Nurgle then i shut up.
And is't the High Gothic name for the Festering Death Legion Legio Bubonicus?

What's wrong with old fluff anyway? GW is scrapping it all too happily. Good if somebody decides to keep it still in use.

Is there any new fluff directly contradicting like claiming they worship some other god?

Nothing concrete, there is only conjecture based on the appearance of a single battlegroup from one novel.

So you could pretty much go either way so unless it's vastly illogical or messed up I would be in favour of following old fluff. Just because it was written in so many years ago doesn't mean it has to be changed IMO.

Good album.

Well, the first half is brilliant, but after that it's mostly filler until the last track.

Well i have issues with the using a famous Titan Legion witch allegiance to a specific Chaos God is somewhat unclear as THE iconic Titan Legion for Nurgle (or any specific Chaos God).
Expecially as we have the Festering Death Legion as already established as a Nurgle specific Titan Legion which British is reluctand to use because it hasn't an official lating/high gothic name?.

:agree:

I do have to say however that GW do choose silly and often childish (unimaginative) names for things...

Great ideas. I will probably use them in the future for the Titan game Cult Titan Legion list.
