I would support a weaker Greater Daemon for Undivided or maybe none at all. It would really distinguish the BL list further from the cult lists.

Happy with the rules above though - happy to see change coming for the better.

nice to see some change to a list that i feel had lost its way alittle.

these are the sort of changes that will make the black legion fun and intresting to use again
hope to get some time to play test

must buy a new black legion army))

No 45cm should be 30cm on their weapons stats

Another game this week vs SM with 2 thawks, no warhounds

I took
Retinue+DP+Rhinos
Retinue+Rhinos
Retinue+Oblit
Chosen+rhinos
Chosen+rhinos
Raptors
Raptors
Havocs (i played these as 225pts incl 2 rhinos)
Decimator
Decimators
2 Preds+2 LR
Hellblades
Devastation

I wanted to how the list+activation count worked without buying pacts, wasn't the greatest test as Daves Thawk full of terminators was shot down and I went first every turn. Havocs worked ok without daemons but degrade quickly with small size+no ATSKNF

how come BL have no artillery formations? or is the decimator meant to cover this area?

The list is supposed to focus on BL CSM rather than allowing lots of IG axtras

CSM don't typically have artillery.

Exception : Iron Warriors.

I've played about a dozen games with the changes

Daemon+Summoning changes work well, make it a viable choice to use daemons and even to take GDs, no other issues that I've found


One change I would like to make from the Change Proposals is

SUPPORT
Havoc Formation - 225pts for 4 Havocs and a character and either 2 rhinos or dreadclaws. Upgrades as before

Just to make them an offensive choice rather than a blitz guard


Any other testing?

DP's are easy meat for anything with a TK attack, just sayin'
