Please, put every units datasheet in it! It is horror to bring 3 (or more) army list with you so that you could play with it (that list, IG list, LatD list and maybe even more). Where for example can you find stats for those superheavies? Not in the IG list that comes with Big Book.

At least put there quick reference sheet with every units stats.

Here's a sample army I put together last night, it's based on a Guard that was used around here recently... the Traitor Guard army mirrors it quite nicely... and a Strategy Rating of 3... fewer Commissars, of course, but I could fit in a Daemonic Pact in case I roll a "6" for a Strategy Roll.

I still feel this Traitor Guard, even if only "recently turned" is far too origanized and regimented to represent hard core Traitors, *ESPECIALLY* if they get access to Mutants and Daemon Engines!

So far, it doesn't seem like a divergent enough list to require representation as its own army.

Traitor Guard Sample Army - 3000 Points

Traitor Guard Company HQ
1 Traitor Guard Commander Arch-Heretic
Daemonic Pact
1 Traitor Brute
12 Traitor Guardsmen
7 Chimeras
1 Hydra

Artillery Battery 1
3 Manitcores

Artillery Battery 2
3 Manitcores

Traitor Guard Company 1
1 Traitor Commander
12 Traitor Guardsmen
1 Traitor Brute
2 Snipers

Traitor Tank Company –(BTS Goal
1 Leman Russ Vanquisher
9 Leman Russ

Superheavy Tank Company
2 Shadowswords
1 Baneblade

Traitor Guard Company 2
1 Traitor Commander
1 Traitor Brute
12 Traitor Guardsmen

Flak Battery
3 Hydras

Thunderbolt Squadron
2 Thunderbolt Fighters

I haven't been able to get on TacComms all morning and I'm at a client right now.

I've put together a "Cultist" focused list using the Traitor Guard which I'll post when I get home.

I put together an alternative Alpha Legion Uprising list that was primarily a cultist list, but set up so it could take CSMs as upgrades and some CSM formations to represent the leadership of the chaos marines.

Basically, it loses a lot of the flexible IG-related options of the Stigmatus list in return for the option of taking the CSM support and a little bit better overall command and control.

===

Also, going back to the earlier discussion about power-specific lists, I think I've changed my mind.  I think that could be fun.  There would probably be a lot of overlap, but you might be able to make them distinct and characterful.  You could do things like a Slaanesh Beastrider company or Khornate beastmen berzerkers or a mob of mad Tzeentchian psychics.  Maybe...

Khorne:
Beastmen Berzerkers (core)
Jugger Riders (support)

Nurgle:
Plague Zombies (as current)
Beasts of Nurgle (?) (support)

Slaanesh:
Beastrider Coven (core)

Tzeentch:
Disc Riders (support)
Mad Psyker Mob (support or upgrade)

Yeah, I did an Alpha Legion army as well... *laugh*  Just didn't update it for March...   :))

Anyway, here's the "Traitor Cultist" list I put together... way more flexible than the "core" Lost and Damned list... *AND* SR 3... which I think is a bad thing... again, why would a "recently turned" Guard Regiment had access to so much Chaotic stuff?

Traitor Guard Cultists Sample Army - 2995 Points

Coven 1 (Nurgle)
1 Arch-Heretic Demagogue
1 Heretic Brute
6 Cultists
2 Mutants
Daemonic Pact
5 Big Mutants

Coven 2 (Nurgle)
11 Cultists
1 Demagogue
1 Heretic Brute
6 Chimeras
Daemonic Pact
1 Traitor Hydra

Coven 3 (Slannesh)
1 Demagogue
1 Heretic Brute
Daemonic Pact
11 Cultists

Daemon Pool
11 Lesser Daemons

Defilers (Unmarked)
4 Defilers

Contagions (Nurgle)
4 Contagion Towers

Daemon Knights (Slaanesh)
4 Daemon Knights.

Super-Heavy Tank Company –(BTS Goal
3 Shadowswords

Traitor Thunderbolts 1 (Nurgle)
2 Thunderbolts

Traitor Thunderbolts 2 (Slaanesh)
2 Thunderbolts

Instead of a "One Size Fits All Traitors", why not try God-specific Traitor Armies, with unique and flavourful formations, similar to the ones Neal listed?
