FW is also re-doing the IG Gorgon for 40k, incidentally.

Again, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we'll see a 6mm version.

Hey guys, there are a ton of rumors running around regarding the Chaos sprues, mostly based on the fact that the Araby stuff is the only SG stuff in the advance orders on the GW websites.

Andy has stated explicitly that there is more than just WM Araby in the in the Spring release.  It is also confirmed that the SG "February" release now extends through March.  From the "February Releases" thread in General Discussion thread on the SG boards:
There is more than Araby for our febuary/march release. In fact news of which, may well be on the website this week.

Just because it's not on advance order with the rest of the February stuff doesn't mean it's not going to be coming out.

I agree there is reason to be a bit nervous, but the wailing and gnashing of teeth is premature at this point.

I'm normally a pessimist, but once I heard that Warmaster Nice was painting the Chaos infantry for demo purposes, I knew it was a good indication that Chaos would be rereleased soon. I might gnash my teeth over the price, but not whether they're going to be released.  :D

I am still skeptical, but I'm waiting to see if the chaos infantry sprue does get released or not, I still think its miniscule support for the army list even ?if it does get released out of all the other supposidly Lost molds that comprised the majority of chaoses models, years after it should have. Its like handing a thirsty man a single thimble of water and expecting it to quench his thirst, not to mention then expecting him to pay you for a full glass of water, in addition to making him wait days or in this case years for its delivery.

Well we could come up with 'list' of wants from FW and when we make orders choose a certain model or range for a coordinated effort of we want this.  At the moment would the 'range' of choice be Chaos Armored Vehicles based on currently available Imperial range.

Juggernauts don't seem too crazy an idea for CSM biker units if you want to get them into use.  Thats what I use them for anyway.

I would be really keen on the idea of FW picking up some of the Chaos range.  Especially defilers.... haven't been game to try making one yet.

Yeah I saw it, buy off ebay/second hand seems to be the gist of it. GW must finally be throwing in most of the towel if thats their official advice. Still it does look fairly sure that the Chaos infantry sprue is finally on it way. A bit of good news.

Is this something that was simply not removed from an old version of the article? ?

In addition we're re-releasing a limited range of metal models for unique units found in the Chaos army lists


I find it highly doubtful this statement could be correct.

Thanks for the heads up Neal.  This is very reassuring.  Article + W/N painting the Chaos models=  :D
