After several years of silence, I've restarted work on the NetEA Death Guard list, woo!
Previous version:
https://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd ... 82&t=34027Overall, this simplifies several of the more fiddly units, removes unique names if the unit isn't unique, and generally brings the army more in line with the other Chaos lists.
Please let me know your thoughts on the changes, and on the list as a whole.
Changelog for version 0.8: (2023/01/18)
Blight DronesI've replaced the old Blight Drones with Bloat Drones which are less tough (LV rather than AV) and slightly slower, but better in CC and with a Fleshmower melee option. The formation is now 4-7 models.
Armoured VehiclesInspired by the
EA Ragnarök Death Guard list, Invulnerable Saves have been removed from most vehicles, in return for an extra 'pip' of Armour. As this has a bigger impact than an INV Save, they have mostly seen a small increase in points cost. This covers Rhinos, Predators, and Vindicators.
Land Raiders have lost the INV save and are now slightly cheaper.
Character NamesWhere Characters are identical to the other Chaos lists I have changed their names to match the other lists.
Blightlord TerminatorsI've removed the special INV Save and Mounted, and returned their Thick Rear Armour. They are now 'normal' Fearless Terminators again, but effectively with Heavy Flamers.
Nurgle's RotThis is now an army-level rule for testing. If any formation causes casualties in an assault, you gain a Lesser Daemon on a roll of 5+.
Daemonic PactAs a result, Daemonic Pact has gone back to normal, and includes a Lesser Daemon in the points cost.
Lesser DaemonsI've added Beasts of Nurgle and Plague Drones as Lesser Daemon options for testing, and removed the non-summoned Beast of Nurgle profile.
