I notice that you do not have the Plasma Blastgun available to the Warhound titan. Is there a reason for this?  The Imperial version has it as a standard.

Just thought I would ask as I am developing the Warhound for the World Eater list and noticed that it was missing.

Also note that the latest Vraks2 book has the weapons listed as follws for a Warhound:

Turbo-Laser Destructor
Plasma Blastgun
Inferno Gun - already in list
Vulcan Mega Bolter - already in list

As per the discussion in the other topic I started for Chaos Titans in general, the Khorne list is very much designed for the flavor of the more corrupted Titans (so more daemonics and unique weapons - I thought the plasma blastgun with its slow rate of fire, lacked the daka to appeal to a Khorne flavoured Warhound.

If you want the more demonic and corrupted weapons then we have to add some more shooty deamon weapon beacause the only weapon  (khorne exclusive) list that are good to take is ether blade.

maybe some short/medium range weapon with devastating firepower can be what this list  really need

Well while this list develops, I will outfit the Warhound in the v0.9 list with a Vulcan mega Bolter and Plasma Blastgun with the option to swap the Plasma Blastgun with a Bident.

As this list develops, I will start looking at the other options to replace the fit-out.

Also, in regards to the Bident.

I noticed it is part of the Free weapon choices. Do you think the Extra Attack +3 TK(1) is apprpriately balanced?

I am just comparing this to the other Assault Weapons for War Engines and titans so far:

Lord of Battles: Chain Fist EA+3 MW
Brass Scorpion Claws: EA+1 MW
Banelord Doomfist: EA+2 TK(D3)
Banelord & Ravager Tail : EA+1

I know the other Battle Titan Close Assault weapons are the same but with TK(D3). I was just wondering whether EA+3 was maybe too much for such a weapon.

I was considering simply going with taking it down to MW rather than leaving in the TK, though I'm keen on possibly just stripping it down to EA+1 TK(1)

i think close combat  titan weapons must be devastating  because is more difficult to go contact with enemy (especially with premesuring ). i think  the actually stats are ok ;maybe it can't be doubled , so no +6 tk attack. They are 3tk at 4+ and 3 normal at 4+ maybe can do 3 dead(4 against 6+ or no saves) , even with no bm situation is easy the opponent get +1 or 2+ for numbers , with 5+ reinforced in close combat maybe 1 damage could be taken (more probably 2 if numerous enemy )so is likely titan got a draw (only had to see the 2d6 roll to see who win) not so impressing considering how is difficult to go in cc and considering he can have only 1 shooting weapon if he take bident.
