Due to the ever changing nature of exchange rates I have adjusted the prices at Cloud City Games so that they better represent the current exchange rates both in Canada, the US and the UK.

The exchange rate changes have meant that the Canadian dollar is doing quite well against both the Pound and the US dollar and so that meant that the old Canadian prices on the site were higher than the equivalent prices in Pounds.

The adjustment has been done to the entire range of Dark Realm miniatures.

In general this has meant a $1 Cnd reduction in price (just under a dollar for all of you in the US) to all blister packs. Some of the larger army deals and Brigade packs have seen decreases in the area of $4 or $5 each.

I'll be doing these adjustments from time to time to ensure that the pricing at Cloud City Games is consistent with the sources in the UK.

I would like to show some love for the super-fast service and near teleport speeds of CCG and Canadian Small Packet Air Post. Mmm, love.

Ah... glad to hear that the Small Packet recommendation worked out for Pixel Geek.

And since I plan to do a largish order with Cloud City at the end of July all I can say is... how often do you hear about companies *reducing* their prices to reflect reality?

:D

I'm sold.

It was actually part of the services offered, it just seems that most people weren't keen on it.

I am still trying to get the Canada Post IT people to update their estimated delivery times since they are actually longer than the official Canada Post website.

"Do unto others".

PG why not list prices in each currency? Could do away witht he need for the odd correction. Don't know if you would want to handle sales in three currencies though!

It's always hard to get around the currency fluctations.  You either decide to go with a base price in one currency and have your other currency prices adjust almost in real time, or you go manual.  What most companies do is set it manually and then adjust in their own favor.  It's great to see CC adjust to the actual rates-- well done!

Th e-commerce software has a default currency that all prices are set in. So you can't, AFAIK, list prices in three or more currencies unfortunately.

That said, I may actually convert everything over to Pounds since that is the currency that I buy all the product in.

Even when I bring in terrain, it will all be sourced from the UK as well.
