Quote (Cuban Commissar @ 13 April 2006 (12:19)) | Hey guys, finally got to open my box of DRM minis. ?These are vey nice minis. I got 7 boxes on the light infantry. ? ?
The detail is good and the casting is very, very, clean. ?Each figure is a individual in the blister. ?So no cutting figures off strips, that was very nice. ? ?
The only wierd thing, and I don't think it is a bad thing. ?The base is really big. ?so they may not fit, height wise, in a standard epic bases. ?I haven't tried yet but i'll let you know.
If you want super soom pictures let me know. ?
Thanks | Hi!
I would indeed like pics of these.

Other thread
I was actually just talking about the thickness in this thread today. Some of the infantry bases are a bit thick and will stick up over a standard epic base. However it doesn't seem to be consistent - some fit flush and others don't.
Still, nothing flock can't hide. If you were really anal you could file them down a tad.
I actually am holding off on my Tau army until I can get a hold of the circular bases DRM is offering. Sweet looking.

Doug talked about this on the DRM forum. ?He said he is aware that some of the bases are thicker. ?Those are some of the early sculpts, thus the reason others are the right thickness. ?But he is looking into getting the base thickness corrected for those certain figures. ?That way everything in the range will be consitent.

Overall I would rate DRM as a must buy for the 6mm scale.

Well, you are quite a bit away, unfortunately. However you never know when a tourney might bring us together.
Just don't bring Jimmy "the fish" or your other backers with you.

Hey guys,
I tried to take soime detailed pictures and I just couldn't get the camera to focus on the figs. I don;t know why I never had this trouble before. Maybe because I was trying to focus on just one fig.
Sorry I just wanted to let you know i tried.

Cuban Commisar, try pulling hte camera back, but put it on the highest resolution possible. then import the photo into photo shop or similar. crop the photo to the desired frame around the figure, and then resize it to a good viewing level. I have done that in the past and it works for me.

Legion4 and Moscovian, Remember, My convention hub is right in the middle of you two (Lancaster), perhaps in the future something can be worked out where we can all get together for a game there. Wit hthe usual saleas at the con and such, there will be more than enough people to get together for a game, or tourney or something
