That's the Thunderhawk Annihilator (Which IIRC is a 'made up' non-canon variant).

I guess there are no stats for the Turbo-Laser variant... time to make some! :D

So you're making up rules for the Turbolaser for Epic? I'd suggest you get your hands on Imperial Armour Volume 2 for the stats, and then find something else that compares well (possibly the Warhound Titan, but I haven't checked yet), and use that as the basis for the rules for it.

I'd probably go with the Light Turbolaser stats from the Warhound Titan (It's basically the same weapon only on a different hull), only half the number of shots (Because there's only 1 barrel instead of two).

So:

Thunderhawk Turbolaser (Replaces Thunderhawk Battlecannon):
2x AT3+ / AP5+  45cm

Cost... 25 point upgrade?

Have you thought about asking in the main Epic forum? This is the Aeronautica Imperialis subforum, AI is very different from Epic and you may find other AI players are like me - I don't play Epic :p

I have three old style ones.

If I replace all three it will be like $100.  I may only be able to buy one.

$100 bucks for 3 6mm models may just be pushing it.

Thunderhawk Turbolaser (Replaces Thunderhawk Battlecannon):
2x AT3+ / AP5+  45cm

Looks good. But i should cost no extra points.
It gains one more shot, petter AP but worse AT and a range reduction of 30cm(!).

FW are doing a fine job of taking the 28mm 40k models they've produced and putting out AI models that are a truer 6mm scale than GW ever did. This is from a post over on Warseer ( http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67326 )I've been involved in:

OK, here are some 40k to AI measurement comparions taken from the models I have here in my collection.

Going from 28mm to 6mm scale should make the AI models 21.4% of the size of the 40k ones.

Thunderbolt - 40k: L 250mm ?W 290mm. ?AI: L 51mm ?W 56mm. Percentage: L 20.4% ?W 19.3%.

Valkyrie - 40k: L 282mm ?W 242mm. ?AI: L 58mm ?W 48mm. Percentage: L20.5% ?W 19.8%

Phoenix - 40k: L 200mm ?W 240mm. AI: L 41mm ?W 45mm. Percentage: L 20.5% ?W 18.75%.

Allowing for measuring errors on the AI models (I only went to the nearest mm, I don't have a micrometer :p), and for differences in the way the models can be put together, these all look very close to the expected scale. Now, lets take the Thunderhawk - FW list it as L 480mm W 440mm, so the AI model should be L 102mm ?W 95mm, and it's pretty close to this.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing them.

When I first saw the shots of the TH a while back, I was a little worried by the size, it looked nearly as big as the Landing Craft, but judging by these it does seem smaller, which is nice :;):

How big is the Landing Craft?

Author:  Evil and Chaos [ Fri Feb 02, 2007 2:49 pm ]
Post subject:  http://www.Thunderhawk and Phoenix have shipped :)

Quite a bit larger.

The Landing Craft is somewhat unique amongst SG Metal aircraft in that it's closer to 1:300 Epic truescale than the 1:500 of the other Epic SG aircraft.

The landing craft can actually fit the 6 rhinos in it clamps.
