Although ?the 'official' release of the Centaur range is scheduled for Salute on April 21st, I'll have some of the vehicles available for sale at Sheffield Triples. I've given you a preview of the light tanks in the last update, so here's another peek for you.  We are aiming to have packs of the Centaur light, medium and heavy tanks for you at Sheffield. Very nice. Can't wait to see more! So I'm guessing this means the new and improved Centaur infantry will be available April 21? I'm dying to see how they turned out. |

I'm working flat out on the Centaur infantry. ?If everything goes as it should, ?they'll be there at Salute. ?The only thing that can derail this are 'Events'... ..and in past experience in bringing out new ranges, Events happen more often than you could possibly imagine! |

With just a few days to go before the first major show of the UK show calendar, both myself and Igor are working hard to get things ready. ?We will of course be taking the full Command Horizon range to the show, but this time we'll have some pre-release packs of new Centaurs with us. ?There will be the Light, Medium and Heavy tanks, pictures of which appear in the news items down this page. ? Sorry we can't do pre-orders on these this time round. ?  I know that right at this minute, there are many people banging their head against the monitor, shouting, 'What if we're not going to the @$%?*$ ishow?' ? All I can say, is that the release of the full range is not that far away, so not too long to wait. |

We've just recovered from the weekend show. ?The new Centaur models went down a storm and Igor's base showing a tank launching missiles was stopping people constantly. An added bonus was that we were able to display a pre-cast of one of the walking city modules. ?This monster dwarfed even the large Centaur vehicles and I think we could have sold it 10 times over! Our aim is to have as much of this lot on general releases in 3-weeks. ?It's a lot of work, so wish us luck ?

Pictures - soon, soon... The piece we had on show didn't have any of the metal fittings and was just primed grey. Impressive? Yes. Complete in all its splendour? No. I'm just sorting out the moulds for all the spikey bits that will be added to be body sections. Pictures will follow. Honest.

OK, Here's the one you've all been waiting for - the first of the Centaur Walking City modules. ?Introducing the 'Defence Module'!  Both Igor and myself are nothing but blurs of motion as we zip round the workshop preparing for Salute. I can confirm that we'll have full stocks of all the human ranges plus the new Centaur goodies (The base in the foreground holds 3 light tanks and acts as a scale point of reference.) This is the first model in a group that will make up this nomadic race's 'Walking City'. Still to come are Habitation, Industrial and Aerospace Carrier modules. The Defence Module mounts two twin 'super heavy guns', four single SH guns, seventeen double light gun mounts and five quad light gun mounts. We'll have some models for sale on the day at ?25.00 each. We've already been working on incorporating these into the CH rules system, so look forward to fun and games when version 3.1 comes out. We're looking to have these available in early May. The Centaur range will be added to the cart system next week, so those of you waiting to order some won't have to on too much longer. (What's the betting someone mentions the 'O' word within 3 posts?) |
