Yes, after months of waiting, we’ll soon have the Worms available and ready to infest a planetary surface near you. We’re just working on the last few moulds, but in the long held tradition of taunting you all by showing you the (currently) unobtainable, here’s a couple of shots of what you can expect to see from us: ![]() A base of self-propelled artillery… ![]() ![]() And a couple of shots of the standard worm ‘infantry’. There’ll be more to come soon, so keep watching the Command Horizon site for details. |

They wriggle in to them? That begs the question as to who made the belts? An extremly novel army, very interesting |

Treat them with a shot of Frontline - that's what I do to keep them at bay in the cats. ![]() Hmmmm, I'm beginning to think these guys might include some very interesting stuff..... |

Thanks for all the comments chaps! Some of you have actually hit on a big problem I found when I inherited this range. How do worms achieve a technological society? I was saddled with the Worms as a concept as they seemed to be the most popular of the alien races and people REALLY wanted me to continue doing them. The previous owner's solution was to produce little worms with arms, legs and faces complete with cheesy little grins. This really didn't work for me, so we had to do some 'lateral thinking'. The first thing to establish was what worms can used for manipulating objects. If they can't have hands what can they use? The answer is that 'head' of all worms houses a very tough four-part beak that in turn contains a large number of fleshy, delicate sensory organs that act as their fingers and thumbs allowing them to manipulate tools. We're also making them heavily into bio-technology which will offset their lack of large scale metal working. However, this process will also allow them to sequester captured equipment, replacing computer systems with their own biotech giving them better armoured vehicles if required. Lots more on this sort of thing will be coming out as we develop the race and incorporate them into version 4.2 of the CH rules. |

I almost thought this was 1st April, but ok. "Inherited", "really" & "contiue". Ok, worms do NOT have manipulative organs. But they could have a VERY limited sort of telekenesis. I mean, every one think of telekenesis as something for really big brains etc. And worms as something with absolutly NO brains, especially not any higher brain functions... |

Personally, I am more freaked out by the one with lipstick! ![]() I like the artillery pieces, and initially thought that the worms were the ammo which were fired from it. |
