Whoops! Almost forgot again today! :p :D

Anyway: Here's the Khazari Droid Controller. The model is about 6 cm in diameter so it is a fairly big model.
The hatches on the underside can be glued on in open or closed position. We discussed building a version like this with some Kamikaze droids swarming out but unfortunately had to scrap the idea as it would probably have been squashed during the hazardous shipping back to the UK :p

...I'm thinking Necron players might also find a use for this model. I think it might make a good starting point for an Abbatoir or Aeonic Orb conversion.... or even Tau players who want to build some houses or similar could use this as roof for the houses...

It is big too (about the size of a coaster), and a heavy chunk of lead :D.

That's hardcore. Baccus made their walking city out of resin.

P.S. Of course I'll buy it.

Resin does seem like a very good alternative when it comes to the large models. You could always combine it with metal bitz for the flimsier parts.

It's an option - and when i'm sure I can get the right level of detail with it, we'll definately be walking down that path ;).

However nothing beats the satisfying thud of the beast when you deploy it, and the equally dramatic expression on your opponents face :D.

True. The very real possibility of having your infantry steamrolled by 1 pound of lead would be intimidating to most opponents :D

I'm not complaining. I like the notion of a huge metal thingy. In fact, that was one motivation I had for making the Imperator molds - the possibility that I could one day make metal versions, just for the heftiness.

And it's under a tenner as well...

It's scheduled to launch tomorrow, so should appear on the store a few hours time :D.

You could probably paint it blue and call it a Warp Palace too.....

Not painted pictures i'm afraid - it would be to delicate then to survive international postage.

But I can certainly whip up a white metal one for you :D.

Hell I could have a go at painting it, but my painting skills are about as good as a one eyed donkeys.

(Please note, I am not a Donkeyphobe, I fully respect donkeys and thus can ridicule them for there comical ears and sad expressions.)

And yep - it does look rather UFO like L4, I have always liked saucers :D, and wanted a fleet that looked very different to the Guild/Empire/Tarragin/Faren.

I'm not ashamed to admit seeing this model did make me shed a tear of joy! :sniff:

It is a real jewel in the E/W crown - it is a superb model, it looks great, but what I love most about it is that it really reminds of of '50's Sci-fi movie flying saucers - and I mean no disrespect in saying that, there are some classic designs which are kind of over looked nowadays.  Well done to all involved! :)

Well, it looks like I'll be doing a Khazari army now! :D
