No problem C/C !  Did you get the pics of my Monastary and stuff ?  Was trying out my new Fuji !  And used it for these !   Con, sent me the intell on those resin GEV MBTs, APCs, etc. ... so don't worry about that, I was tempted to buy some ... :)

Ooh, is it just me or do the E-W minis have textured bases?
Also, as an aside, how well do E-W and DRM minis fit into GW bases?

Good work L4!

I believe E/W do have textured bases. DRM started down that line too, but it was decided to go with flat ones for the production models. Since you need to fill the small gaps between base & model, it somewhat looked like each man was standing on a manhole cover, unless you added your own texture anyway.
It is handy for getting miniatures table-ready quickly, but not so for more detailed work. One of those 50/50 calls   :;):

I don't know about DRM, but EW minis fit okay in the rectangular epic bases. And they fit even better in EW bases. ?:D

EDIT: Thanks for the pics, L4. They're very helpful.

I knew you'd come through for us.

Now it will be far easier to push these minis on the unsuspecting new comers!

No Sweat Boyz !  Glad to help E/W, DRM and Us !!  :)  Yes, E/W does have textured bases, and yes, E/W & DRM will fit G/W Long bases with little to no work !  For the "OLD SCHOOL" square bases some filing will most likely be required. AND ... Both DRM & E/W Troops are "Free" of Sprues ! No cutting needed, they come loose in the bag/blister !    As I said on M/S's 6SFWG site ... E/W, DRM, G/W(F/W) and GZG make the best 6mm sci-fi in the known Universe !  I have some or all of them in my War Room !!  :alien:

And just to add a detial which might or might not have been mentioned, DRM troops fit in GW bases very nicely.

Most excellent. ChaosOrc is the one to go to for EW in North America, yes?
Somebody has started Cloud City games to carry DRM in Canada, which I am salivating about, and hoping he will expand to other 6mm sci-fi.

How do the EW bases work out for E:A base sizes?

Correct, Chaos Orc is the distributor on this side of the pond.

The EW's long bases are comparable to GW's rectangular. EW also uses circular bases for some things, like characters and Khazari mortar teams.
