I see they have also restocked (or released) Macrovian Conscript Squad. Is it the same as the old Conscropt company?

Maybe the striations are a form of slat or bar armor...?

Either way, those would be great Taurox proxies!

Yes, if you look there are bolts on the corners of an armor plate that covers the top of the hood. Hence the term "ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIER", me thinks ... 8)

No just no. You can try and handwave that all you want but no, the 3D print was really low res and not cleaned up prior to mould making.

given how stupidly long these things took to see the light of day (my best count is at nearly 5 years...) I'd assume that the striations are the problem of 5-year-old 3D printing technology?

I wonder if the lost sales from pickier customers would have made up the shortfall in costs of getting them re-printed at higher res and cleaning the masters up before moulding them.... 'yeah that'll do' is no longer good enough in a world which includes companies like Vanguard and Onslaught who produce pristine casts.... Steel Crown need to up their game IMO

It does seem odd that they wouldn't at least give it a light sanding or a rub-down with acetone to do away with the more pronounced print lines. And having the length of the vehicle be the z-axis is also rather odd; if the height had been set as the z, the print lines would have been on the sides instead of on the large flat surfaces of the hood and fenders.

Good point Kyuss! Also 100% with Nolo regarding the print orientation. Also, hi Nolo-long time no see around here!

Thanks! You know how it is -- Real Life tends to interfere with hobby time.

I'm glad someone else said these thoughts of mine. I feel slightly impatient at frustration over a mere 6-month wait for restocks, so to anyone having waited for that long to see these...? Oy.

If the striations are trying to represent an armour plate why are they on the wings as well? Its just really poor
Exodus wars and DRM have survived due to the goodwill of the 6mm community in forgiving lot of issues but they both have largely used up this goodwill IMO.
