Hi i have received two emails from SCP inviting me to review recently ordered models, the only problem is that they are pre-release onslaught pieces which means it's a bit hard to give an opinion on models i don't have yet.

I take it that these emails are automated and part of the shops standard operating system.

Nice to see the long awaited Mk 2 legionares though I will say that I'm (still) gutted the beret was lost from the sargent / leader chap. Easy enough to GS it, but still sad.

Quick question: The Mk 1 Assault Centuria seemed to have females (at least they seemed some of them had bew3bs) as opposed to the Mk2. Was that an actual design choice or was it just the traditional modeling happened to give them that look by chance?

Fantastic to see them in action!

Originally we had a mixed force of male and female Legionnaires. I have zero problem with women serving in the armed forces however our 6mm miniatures represent the average fire team.

Plus with Onslaught making specialist units of women there is little need to duplicate effort :D.

In answer - yes, only of the MkI Assault Legionnaires was a woman.

The beret was lost as we wanted to avoid the GW theme of sergeants skipping helmets. All our Legionnaires guard their heads, especially the ones who have lived long enough to become sergeants.
