Something to be aware of ... the "new" armies don't look too much like others ... maybe like ZHO being Chinese and Japanese looking similar ... especially in 6mm ... :eh

Panic not L4 - I'm on the case, every army will look very unique.

Plus, we'll list the concepts on TacComms so people can yell at us if they don't like the look and feel :D.

Juddski - I would give the Japai heads/helmets in a similar vein to a Samurai helm (elongated back section etc) The robot head looks too Necronish for my liking.

I think its more likely that a Japai conscript is about to get mashed by an Edenite Warrior.

The Sergeants could always use Samurai helms?

How about the Suomi (Finnish-types for arctic/winter forest/ice world conditions)?

Arctic troops - fur-trimmed hoods
Ski troops
Close combat troops with ice picks/ice axes/chainsaws
Snowshoe troops
Snowmobile troops
Armed/armored Snowcat vehicle
Armed/armored snow plow tankette
Plow fronted medium tank
Behemoths with a chain saw arm mount and attachments to the legs for greater stability (extra stabilizing flanges off of the "calves" or spiked tanktread snowshoe-like attachments for the "standard" Behemoth feet).

I love it! I don't think anyone has done 6mm cold weather troops before and with the snow mobiles and ski troops we have significant differences. What I'm trying to avoid is having just reskinned Conscripts.

This is perfect.

Of course now we need an SBS styled faction of marines for amphibious assaults.

Glad you like the idea! As a "gift" for the idea - can you keep the "Suomi" name? BTW, what does SBS stand for?

SBS - Special Boat Service

The Royal Navy's counterpart to the SAS, probably (I don't know a lot about them) roughly similar to the US SEALs, at least in their asymmetric amphibious warfare roles.

Some more info - http://www.eliteukforces.info/special-boat-service/
