Chaps,

I want to split out the components from the products. I'd ideally like to have an online store that contains just blisters and boxed sets (all with studio painted photo's and Barcode/EAN's).

I do however realise that components are a popular part of our range and that customers do enjoy the flexibility they offer and are willing to pay a little extra to get a few components added to their order.

I certainly recognise that some of our components don't have pictures and that is a crime that needs to be rectified if we are to continue offering components.

Just use a black wash on the casting, then we could really see what the figure looks like.
Half the times the paint jobs seem to further confuse than help.
Paying the premium wouldn't be bad if it also assured the cast was never a miscast. (the few times I've ordered Exodus direct and got components everything was great, can't say the same for blisters I've gotten from retailers in the USA)

I voted "with all my orders", however it's more typically 50-66%. Definitely more than occasionally.

If you want to split the Components out of the products section but still kept them avaible then thats fine. But if your thinking about axing components all together I might have to swim the pond for a flogging. ;)

Maybe just have a PDF you can send or have people download with images of all components? eh?

How would people react to components being available VIA a separate sub company.

Sort of like Forgeworld / Games Workshop.

i suspect it would almost certainly see a reduction in the number of orders i made.

Yeah, if you can partition the components out, but allow them on the same order it would be better.

Also, where's your Edenite Infiltration Infantry squad gone? The individuals are still available, but no squad option.

That must be a website error - we've never done a squad pack of Infiltration Infantry, only components.

I love bits and get some from FRP Games whenever I can encourage them to...but as mentioned, so many of them dont even have pics on your site :( The bits make conversions and terrain such a joy...I think we're lucky to be able to buy them!

I think there could be value in having the components in a seperate section on the same website because some people might feel overwhelmed with the options available and just want to see complete products but I would hate for it to be a seperate company as i think that is a duplication that isnt needed.

Do you guys agree? Partition out the components? At the moment we only have a filter on them.

I prefer the filter myself.
