What do you do when your friendly neighbourhood is infested with nasty teddybear-swinging zombies? Well if you got the right connections you might want to try and get into contact with the Shadow knights... if you can find them. Failing that you could try and contact the meanest pack of roughnecks around. Bounty Hunters are a motley crew of former Guild legionares, smugglers, pirates, Empire soldiers and scum from across the galaxy. Lacking the specialized equipment of the Shadow Knights, they are still highly trained soldiers who pack a considerable punch. There's 20 Bounty Hunters to a pack: 10 with rifles, 10 with pistols. Apologies for the semi-crappy shot: For some reason I just cannot shoot proper photos anymore... Coming soon: Guild Assault Pods... |

Available - April the 1st. Whilst the Shadow Knights are the most famous bounty hunters, they are only some of the forces used by the Guild in battle. The independents often lack the equipment and training of the Shadow Knights but they are skilled fighters with many years experience. They make perfect scouts for the Legions, often possessing a local knowledge that makes them extremely valuable ? and of course they are considerably cheaper than the BaraDyne Institute rates. Usually equipped with Sniper Rifles or extended range Laser Rifles they are well suited to dealing with enemy forces from a distance. For close up work they?ll use a variety of death dealing weapons including conventional, laser, and in very rare cases, plasma weapons. |

LOVE the pistol guys, but those rifles are just too big. |

I'm with Zombocom, the pistol guys are awesome, but the heavy weapon is more like a 105mm cannon than a GPGM. |

I agree they look somewhat lumpy, but I believe this was a concious choice of Bob. The original concept sketch had a long thin barel like the Jezail Musket used by Afghan rebels in the Afghan/british war The alternative would have been a very brittle miniature with constantly broken or bent barrels. For my own I'll probably replace them with thinner versions made from pins, which are also stronger ![]() |

Are the mounted ones coming out in April too? |

The long rifles are made from a hi-tech light weight composite alloy. The long, but light weight barrels gives them tremendous range and accuracy. It's all in the manual ! ?But on another point, I'd rather have a barrel that is a bit more durable (not like F/W - those are accidents waiting happen !) ?Of course metal is not as brittle as F/W resin, but you get my point ... ? ![]() |

Personally I think it's the right design choice, you can cut them down or replace them if you want, but at least they are solid for gaming and being knocked around on the table. |
