Not me ... Webtv gets very little ... one of the few advantages ... I think that totally sucks that they use E/W "as a carrier wave" for Spam !  Frakk'm !

THat really annoys me ! They always talk about that type of Spam on the news ! But any pop-up/Spam whether Meds, watchs, XXX, etc. is just an invasion of privacy. They are hard to find/stop. I see why parents would be concerned too ...

Hmmm... I've just been over to the Exodus Wars forum, and I've noticed a couple of things:
1) there's ANOTHER new member registered, which I estimate makes it the 3rd or 4th this week. What's noticable about this is the user names, well let's put it this way they don't sound like gamer-type log-ins, and taking a look at their profile they have no other info apart from links to very dodgy looking websites... 
2) embarassingly, I don't think MY spam was originating from the E/W forum - as I didn't include my e-mail address in my user profile 
So my apologies to Tom to forwarding him some of my 'questionable' spam; it's clear that it's not from E/W forum, but I've no idea where it's from now... 
In anycase, the number of wierd looking registrations is something that you might want to look into, especially if they start to hassle other members with spam...

NP chap, i'll investigate - so far there has been no activity from them. But i'll keep an eye open. Let me know if you experience any problem with them.
There has been no occasions that I am aware of where members have been hassled.

hey all...you may not know but im a new EW forum admin...and i found something in "DA holy code" that seems to allow bypass of the Image Confirm system (ya know when you register and it says: insert what u see in the pic). This would alow spam bots to enter and use the EW adress and spam your butt....im working on it...warn me if...if...like the forum becomes like the matrrix...
