If there was a choice of man sized or marine sized, id personally prefer man sized, as id have more applications for them :)

I don't think they can change it without re-modeling it. I agree that they look better as rebels or cultist and not Non-Ordered Marines.

Well, I've done a photoshop, they don't look that much bigger, the only size difference is due to there armour. I think it fits the racial fluff rather nicely :D. They are meant to be the Royal Empire elites.

Just to give a true definition to everyone, could we get a render of the models next to each for people to look at? It'll be more accurate than my photoshop immage.

As you can see, the Royal Empire Sergeant is the standard 6mm to the eyeline, and the Royal Empire Assault Infantry is a little taller due to his elite status and bulky armour.

No, I still need to do a final pass over them for castability concerns like that. I'll be beefed up, worry not :)

I was just thinking that.
As such I think they'd go great as troops for an Adeptus Mechanicus themed army.
