Hi- I followed the link to E/W website and checked out the E/W online store. Some nice looking figure but I struggled to see many of them because of the small picture size.

Is there a link anywhere to larger pictures?

Cheers

James

Big pictures have been added - the 'Click to enlarge' link is now fully operational.

Thanks Tom

Of the Guild stuff I really liked the Enforcer SHT & Hoplon IFV, plus the infantry was interesting. Could almost see them being used in mob pacification....

Like the Kahazari- surprise at the lack of body armour for the infantry. Some nice looking poses though.

What is the deal about the Khazari droid controllers? If they were used in Epic what would they represent?

Cheers

James

Well technically they're not really supposed to represent anything in the 40k Universe since E/W wouldn't want to infringe GW IP. :;):

Certainly some EW or DRM, Baccus or GZG miniatures would make excellent proxies, but if any of said companies purposly sought to release miniatures that represented 40k stuff they'd quickly get into trouble. The EW universe has got nothing to do with the 40k universe, so I'm not sure Tom, as an EW representative,  can make any suggestions to what people could use his miniatures for, apart from the upcoming EW rules.

That said, I personally would think the droid controller could be used as a decent proxy for Necrons or, with a bit of modification, as a Chaos Warp Palace. :;):

...At least I hope it is safe enough for me to say so since I'm not really economically envolved with the project. I'm just the happy 6mm enthusiast (read: "Paint Monkey") who gets to paint up the miniatures a few weeks before everybody else.

*Runs away and hides from any specialist in IP law* :p :D

Hello,

The Khazari Droid Controller, is specifically designed to fit in with the Khazari image and background, we have unique races and don't seek to provide proxies for other companies games. There would be no point releasing models for which models already exist.

The Khazari infantry have little need for body armour as they employ kinetic barriers to protect them from incoming fire.

We have our own unique special set of rules coming out soon for people to play EW with ;).

AND, dont forget that the droid controller is still to be subject to "protocol photoshopping procedures to depict its use"...or you could just use it as a warp palace.....just wait till i get back to my actual pc...holidays can be terribly inconvenient :p

i use alliteration "protocol photoshopping procedures" to catch you off guard with wonderful photoshops of the mini in action...see EW homepage for others i did...

Anyone that can use the word 'alliteration' and practice it, is OK with me.

Thanks WMN for clarifying.

Tom - I completely understand how you have to be very careful of what you say for your using proxies for other games.

For the moment i will be sticking with EA as a ruleset for 6mm figures- limited gaming time means I prefer to stick to a few rulesets. Hopefully others will have more time to pick up different rules and that E/W rules and background go from strength to strength.

And I was n't complaining about the lack of body armour for Khazari- just commenting on my immediate reaction the first time I saw these great new additions to the 6mm fold.

Best of luck.

Cheers

James

Epic: A is an awesome set of rules :), and no offense taken, you are right it is pretty shocking when you first see them in just leathers.

I wrote an article to clarify why a sci-fi race would go without much armour, and would have a need for close combat weapons.
