Ok dudes, I surrender, watch this space for details of upcoming female infantry.

Once again market forces have a positive influence on a company.  :D

And here I thought such things as demand never impacted the decisions a company made. :p  :p  :p

I prefer female soldiers to be mixed with the male troops of a faction rather than a separate subset or even separate squads.  I've always felt that seemed somewhat artificial.  Some of the best soldiers I've worked with have been women.

While I certainly have no problem with female soldiers, my intent, and I'm sure the intent of many other "Epic-ers" is to get a 6mm proxy for an existing army made up exclusively of women.

Now if E/W does produce a female infantry mini that is generic enough to work as a proxy AND as "regular infantry", I'd certainly use it as both.

A quick comparison of 2 photos.  Just a little food for thought.

The first, a Forgeworld Exorcist

The second, one of L4's Razorbacks, built using an artillery piece from GZG's 2mm line.

Dude... I think our opinons on women differ, those pictures are far too square and boxy to be a proper female :)!

While I personally probably wouldn't buy them, a friend of mine plays Sisters in 40k and won't play Epic until he can have his 'nuns with guns' in Epic, too.

He would certainly buy LOTS of them.

The thing about generic female infantry is which lot will they be generic to?  It might be more realistic and modern etc. etc. if they were similar to the legion troops, but as possible SoB proxies they might be better in the style of the prefects or shadow knights.

And... would there be that much differentiation at 6mm...?

Let's face it: someone produces a new 6mm sci-fi army.

Most of us are likely to buy it, whatever it is (myself included)!

Would I buy female 6mm soldiers? Well, duh.

For non-US English speakers, 'duh' means, 'your question was rhetorical, and can only have a positive reply.'
