hey
few weeks ago the only 3 A:E player in israel got together to play a game (biggest yet) in honor of Ilan's new eldar army...
it's my first english battle report so be gentle, the pics aren't the best as well ?
2100 from Ilan's eldar and 3000 of my IG vs 6 titan's led by erez.
my force:
Artillery Company:
9 Basilisk.
Hydra.
2 ogryns.
Super-Heavy Tank Company:
3 Baneblade.
Hydra.
Tank Company:
9 Lemun Russ.
1 Vanquisher.
Hydra.
2 ogryns.
Vulture Squadron - the only proxy in the game but i used GW smaller Valkyries ?
2 Warhound Titans.
Orbital Support: Luna Class Cruiser
Ilan eldar force:
Warhost formation:
4 Guardians
Farseer
3 Support platforms
3 Heavy Weapon platforms
3 Wraithguard
3 Wraithlords
Warhost formation:
4 Guardians
Farseer
3 Support platforms
3 Heavy Weapon platforms
3 Wraithguard
3 Wraithlords

6 Warwalkers

6 Vyper Jetbikes

6 Swooping Hawks + exarch and supprime commander
Erez had 6 Warlord titans (i dont know the configuration).
we didn't knew that Erez is using AMTL list (never saw it prior to this game) and Ilan did not recived his orders from FW...
so we had little choice in the troop composition and the game is basically "holding the line by any mean necessary"
this was the deployment:
the tanks formed killing zone in the alley in front of tham,
the Basilisks were there to shot indirect but also to
support the leman russ with direct fire in case the titans will break the kill zone.
the eldar force (primed white) hide in the corners so thay can flank the titans,
most of the eldar force were in the webway.
the Basilisks fired ,scraching few void shilds.
the titans moved and shot ,hitting a Baneblade and his magazine,
one shot one Baneblade destroyed, another shot hits and destroy the Basilisk's hydra.
hits from the Vultures and the leman russ manage to score hits on one titan,
eldar Warhost comes out of the webway guns blazing but were chopped down by the titans.
the eldar sacrifice helped us to pile up BM on the titans
by Orbital bombardment.
but the titans still moved on trying to flank us.
the Swooping Hawks teleported in and charge the flanking titan
but were destroyed
at last one titan down by the leman russ guns and the 2 Warhound titans.
one more eldar warhost comes out from the webway catting down one more titan.
2 titans one from the front and one from the flank concentrat there fire power and destroing the Warhounds.
eldar Warwalkers take position in the woods shoting at the flanking titan's back, jetbike shot at him from the front.
the titan shot hitting a Baneblade and his magazine,
two shots two Baneblades destroyed :-(
one unit of jetbike got to back of second flanking titan.
the eldar warhost summon avatar and charged the titan.
this is the end game stance, due to lack of time we had to stop the game...
it was hard game we didn't have the units to do mach of a real damage...
each of us had 1 VP but we won on 150 point difference :
Erez: 2 titans down, one broken and one half strength
my loses: 2 Baneblades, 2 Hydras, 2 Vulture, 2 Warhound.
Ilan had left on the table: 6 Warwalkers, 6 Vyper Jetbikes, 5 Vyper Jetbikes and leftover Guardians from one warhost, the rest died..

One whose side was the cola and burekas? Were they casualties of the conflict?

Always good to see more batreps.
Surprised to see AMTL force with just warlords. I would have expected some reavers and warhounds especially. But any general has to use what is available!!
I wonder if AMTL princeps had a few more smaller units whether he would have found it easier to avoid being ganged up and so more titans survive?
If you replayed the game once Ilan's reinforcements arrived from FW, what units/tactics would you/he choose differently?

Hi i am Ilan
I would have used two formation of falcons and one unit of voidspinners and probably VAMPIRE RAIDER and PHOENIX bombers.
The problem was that we didn't have enough AT attacks to remove the void shields.
No formation will assult the titans (it's too painful) and some very small formations of 4 troops of rangers will put some blast markers while the titans won't shoot on them not a big threat.

the lack of AT attacks was the problem in the game...
for me as IG more lamen russ's is the way as we dont play with proxy i'm going to have order some more...
as for erez's choice: he had an old Adeptus Titanicus titans at home from time past,
when I orderded me IG army a year ago, he pull them out and painted them (and renew old SM army also)
so this was there first game as AMTL, I dont think he oreded thing from GW or FW yet...
