So these are the non stripped down list of changes for the NetEA project. Ultimately I suspect the Steel Legion will end up with 3 lists, the current one with the minimalist changes, this one (which it has to be said is fairly similar and apples and oranges, but still I feel worth doing) and a Steel Legion pdf with changes names, no abhumans etc etc.

So the changes
The minimalist changes (Deathstrike, Baneblade, Marauder Bomber, Commissars)
Commissars 1 per 500 points
Single Warhounds 275 each
Snipers 1-2 25 points each
Roughriders lose +1EA, retain first strike on basic CC attack, drop to 125 points
Vultures get mk2 missiles with a range of 'only' 90cm
Bombards added to arty company options
Demolisher plasma guns become Ap5+/At5+ with no slow fire (really fiddly that)
Emperor drop by 50 points
Change sentinel pattern name and infantry heavy weapon
