Anyone look at developing a IG roughrider list? I have a VERY big interest anything Savlar Chemdog so much as to putty little backpacks on all of my little guardsmen. I have a big interest in a Savlar Chemriders list. Anyone out there do anything liek that?

I like the idea of a Rough Rider Regiment - using the existing RR Dets, maybe some HW RRs (dismount to form a standard IG HW Plt) and a RR Command Unit.
Ive done the Colonel figure already - a standard Colonel torso brandishing a power sword mounted onto an old RR fig - and he looks quite the Cossack!

Maybe we should start by defining a Rough Rider Company? Let's say it should be made of one I.G. Command Unit (on foot, so no one should have to depend on conversions), a Chimera transport and twelve RR. It should cost 350/400 points. Whsy do you think?

I think a Company group should all be similary mounted on horses. That way they have identical logistics needs. (ie fodder, no fuel).

Here's my attempt at RR officers. Not entirely satisfied but they were made about 10 years ago. I'll have to reposition the sword arms sometime.

Hi!
I agree. We did that in netepic, while the old command had chimeras, putting them on horseback is much better.
