Post subject:  DKoK design rationale: why no barbwire?

The question is in the title.

No barbwires because DKoK is more on the offense than Barans (fluff reason)?

No barbwires because they have been to be of limited use in practice (balance reasons)?

A bit of both, tending towards the former. It helps promote "going over the top" to charge the enemy.
