In the last update there is a "Baneblade company" and the ordinary SH platoon. I intend to remove the baneblade company but not the SH platoon.

Cadia is my main army in Epic, and I really like the theme (I play with lots of tanks to overcome the "slow" factor), but they really struggle against armour (TK yes, but AT??? maybe just the Leviathan)

Oh, sorry my fault then I counted both MW and TK as AT (anti tank) but still.
I was thinking about the Leman russes and the ordinatus mainly, but also Shadowsword, the Leviathan and to some degree the airforce and all the Kasrkin.

Fun to see someone else who is actually playing.
How do your build look like?

Would it be worth to sacrifice the artillery for some vultures?

New version.
Basically a fallback. Changed the Leviathan back and lowered the cost by 25 p.
Deleted the new Baneblade formation.

I see my lovely Russes as MBTs, not really AT units but they have some punch (after all, they're not LR Tank Destroyers, nor Rapiers, etc, etc... I mean, actual AT units).

The Leviathan has some serious AT O0 , what a pity it's soooo slow, right? I don't have any Orninatus and I don't like plasma anyway (also soooooo slow :P ). I usually use a lot of airforce with Cadia for supporting my ground grunts, but again it's mainly an AP or mixed asset.

I either use the typical configuration with SC+Leviathan, or I go to the battlefield with no SC and spam lots of Kasrkin fms giving me plenty of support slots for tanks and artillery. I would say Kasrkins are ace assault troops, but no actual AT whatsoever (unless the enemy is in CC range - enemy tanks aren't that bad in FFs).

And choosing between artillery and Vultures would be so painful: I love both, my favorite units together with Russes. With artillery the army would be slow as it is, exchanging them for Vultures would dramatically improve the overall speed of the army, but then no siege feel at all.

Ok, I hear you but I'm not so sure I can help you.
Vultures is good at AT but they are single shots. I believe there are plenty of good anti tank units in here. The Thunderbolts is one of them. 2x AT 4+ and 2x AT 6+ for 150 points is good...

This army is slow, at least the core formations. That's part of the challenge I think.
I would like to get an "slow and steady assaulting force" feel, not a siege one but some artillery can stay either way.
I also like the Vultures but they feel wrong in this list right now.

Maybe you could start a new thread Uvenlord with your v1.53. You can ask Rug to sticky it and unsticky this one. That way it's easier for you to edit and the file can always be in the first post (I was a bit confused).

That was my idea at first but then Rug "disappeared" and I thought I try out some ideas before launching a new list/topic.

But I guess it is time to replace the old list soon. Will start a new topic next week :)
