Hi guys, I may have missed this list somewhere, but is there an infantry based guard list where i wouldn't have to take a Supreme Commander with Chimera's?

But not the siegemasters list, something more like the organisation of the Cadians.

We took the houserule, add 100pts to an infantry company to get your Supreme Commander back. 100pts is the pricetag between Supreme Commander mechanized and Standard mechanized company. Generally spoken the difference in gameplay for a casual player is negligible, exept you want to be a super-picky-tournament-guy.

There are a *lot* of "Infantry based" Guard armies available, all with different approaches.

Armageddon Ork Hunters
Cadian 'Shock Troops'
Catachan Deathworld Veterans
Death Korps of Krieg
Savlar Chem-Dogs

Those lists can be found in the NetEA Imperial Guard DRAFT document.

Some, such as the Krieg army are under active (and near complete) development, while others are still rather experimental.

Take a look and see what you like!  I'm sure the Army Champions would be glad for input!

Or simply stick with the Steel Legion which has more than enough options for infantry based armies ;)

Unless you want a supreme commander...

In friendly games, that +100 points would probably be just fine though.
