Well, here we go. The following framework will guide me as Imperial Guard Army Champ.

At the end of the day (well not literally) I want to see the following things.

Massive number of balanced Imperial Guard lists. Come on! It along with the Marines is the potentially most varied 'race'. Small army list changes can create quite different feels. I am happy for anyone to run with their ideas for lists and to include them in the master post advertising them all (see below), as long as they can test them occasionally! Multiple people having different ideas for the same regiment is fine, there are after all thousands of different regiments from the same world. Just make sure your ideas are getting some playtesting (and give it a regiment number!).

Stats for everything! To make myself clear I would like to see older Epic stuff and Forgeworld models get stats and be used in lists. An example would be variant Russ or Mars pattern Basilisk. As you may of guessed I'm a big fan of different 'patterns' being used, if only to stop arguments between those working on pet projects!

Nice supplements! Okay not everyone has as much time as Ben, but when you and your playtesters feel a list is balanced its time to tidy it up and put in some background. It would be great if every fanatic article included an imperial Guard army booklet.

My pet project. Something I've always wanted to do and hope to someday make headway with is to produce 'spotters guides' to Imperial hardware. This would be an Epic datafax, pic of painted model and then its constituent parts. So part gaming guide, part collectors guide. I am aware of the NetEpic hardware books and will be using those, though they aren't complete. Plus of course I'll need high quality photos! The Wiki will no doubt be used for this (when I figure out how to use it!).

Lists wise I would like to see the Wiki used a bit more for peoples development process (me included) as development wise building up a body of work should help guide others in the future. Certainly for a list to go up here it has to be available from somewhere.

Each list will hopefully find its way into a master sticky post listing each one, the link to the file, its developer/development team and a 'view' as to whether it is tournament ready (not overpowered). Any pending revisions would get a link from here as well. If your ideas are untested they can brainstorm around the forums and won't go up until they have played a couple of games.

For example

Steel Legion, army list, The_Real_Chris current Regiment Champ.
The list is tournament ready.
Currently several changes are proposed here.

Siegemasters, army list, The_Real_Chris current Regiment Champ.
The list is overpowered.
Revisions are proposed here.

So could all list developers send the above info to me and I'll knock up a post. I will also hunt out the currently in limbo lists, if only for completeness.

Steel Legion PDF, Download, Regiment Champ - BlackLegion
Basically the rulebook Imperial Guard armylist without units the Steel Legion normally wouldn't use plus some new units which are mentioned in the fluff or specified as Armageddon Pattern.
The list is untested.
Discussion here

So? :)

Army list - Death Korps of Krieg
Regiment Champion - 'Evil & Chaos' (Ben)
I believe the list is tournament ready. (If anything it is slightly underpowered)
Currently there are no proposed changes.

Army list - The Mossinian Rebels
Regiment Champion - 'Evil & Chaos' (Ben)
The list is a variation on the Siegemasters army list, and largely inherits its balance. (It already incorporates Chris' proposed changes to the Siegemasters). It is just as ready for tournament play as the 'revised' version of the Siegemasters is.
Currently there are no Mossinian-specific proposed changes.

Both army lists can be found in : The Siege of Mossino (An Epic gaming suppliment)

Discussion for the suppliment can be found here.
