I was ooking though the force disposition lists in the E:A rulebook (trying to see if penal legions were present) and I came across the following at the bottom of the imperial guard regiment list Xenonian free companies ..... 5 companies Does anyone know who these free companies are. I read the Xeno part and think Xenos irregulars? could it be that xenos forces fought alongside the imperium against the Orks, but their exact nature was hidden by the inquisition? |

This is all Google could come up with, though is seems "Xenonian" is used as a race in other games as well: The Xenonian Fighters The Xenonians are a fierce fighting force of female warriors. To make them, use the Escher minis from the Necromunda range. Using Green Stuff, smarten up their uniforms a bit by giving them shoulder plates and backpacks. -Colour schemes: Green or grey camouflage colours. (Doctrines: Independent Commissars, Special Weapon Squads, Light Infantry, Die Hards, Veterans) |
