The Gorgon is essentially a big metal box with no lid. I think it is entirely appropriate that it is vulnerable to ignore-cover type weapons - it is exactly that sort of weapon that can be used to fire over the sides of the vehicle and turn it into a flaming deathtrap!

Also note that there are few AT ignore cover weapons, and Gorgons are hideously vulnerable to high-strength blast and template weapons in 40K precisely because they are open-topped.

A cover save also means that there is no need for a separate rule that the save doesn't apply to MW.

Changes to 1.82:

- Gorgons lose the special save rules.
- Medusas given Heavy Bolters.
- Rough Rider Scout support formation added.
- Gave the Gorgon a Critical Hit table to represent its open-topped nature.

Latest Version: Version 1.82

Had to send back a pack of Super-Heavy tanks (The track wells were all heavily warped).

And they sent me some Ork Gunwagons instead of some BFG ordinance markers.  ???

Anyways they're paying the return postage at least!  :D

For all practical purposes I've now got a full 3k of Death Korps in my collection (Baring a couple of temporary proxies which are still pending their eventual slot-fillers).

So yeah, anytime mate. :)

I'm definitely interested in reading a batrep.  I'm very curious at this point about whether the list plays like it looks on paper.

I'm not sure I've actually had a Forgeworld order where everything was unbroken and well cast.

However, they will usually send out the new piece without needing you to send the old ones back... Which is always great!
