I axctually see the stormblade as a Ryza pattern shadowsword.  The fluff in IA:1 says it is a type of anti-titan SHT built on forgeworlds that don't have access to the designs for the volcano cannon.

also the stormsword is a rebuilt shadowsword or stormblade (or any other shadowsword variant that might be made)

The Stormblade and Stormsword serve different tactical roles than the Shadowsword and Baneblade and so should have their own stats imo.

I would love to see balanced stats for all IG SHT's- the 2 you mentioned and the Stormhammer, and hopefully in due course Epic versions of Forgeworld's newly created 40k scale SHT's Gorgon/Macharius/Malcador.

However using the counts as rule for Stormsword + Stormhammer = Baneblade and Stormblade = Shadowsword at least means you can get your Epic SHT's on the table.

Well, of the tanks you mention, this armylist has everything except the Stormhammer.

V 1.9 coming today.
