In my Wh40k-Weapons-to-Epic-stats conversion system i have taken into account why the Demolisher shoots 30cm and the Plasmagun only 15 cm Here the Demolisher is 30cm AP3+/AT4+ Lance and the Medusa Siege Cannon 30cm AP3+/AT4+ Lance, Ignore Cover.

Railgun (solid shot) has 75cm AT5+ Lance Railgun (submunition) has 75cm AP5+/AT6+
Obviously the difference to the Demolisher is the range and thebetter to-hit values. The Demolisher has a better to hit value because it is a Ordnance weapon (throw 2D6 for armour penetration and choose the highest) where the Railgun isn't.
The Heavy Railgun (solid shot) has 105cm AT3+ MW,TK(2) (or TKD3 in the next version). Heavy Railgun (submunition) hast 105cm AP4+/AT5+ Blast, Disrupt
Blast gives you a second hit to spent on Infantry for each hit.

It will get nowhere. Vindicator is staying rubbish and demolisher is staying worth his points.
Some play it with old stats anyway (at least we do) because Minervan showed clearly the drawback of the change. (And I do not play my pretty vindis anyway)

I am strongly tempted to return to AP3+ / AT4+ Ignore Cover.

If the list returns to Demolisher cannon AP3+ / AT4+ Ignore cover, LR Demolisher loses *rare* status!? Leave Thunderer to rare!

The Medusa is equiped with special Siege Shells to bust bunkers. The Leman Russ Demolisher and the Vindicator isn't. I really can't see how Ignore Cover could be justified on the Demolisher Cannon.
The Vindicator perhabs, because a Squadron of them can destroy terrain features in Apocalypse

wow, i just read through 10 pages of Minervan info. there alot of back and forth here, glad to see there is alot of support for this list. im very anxious to see that happens to the demolisher.
im also anxious to see the changes in 1.7. i know they will mostly be consmetic, but i will basing what i buy for my list from 1.7.
is the minervan list totally self contained or will i need the E:A rulebook for it as well?

The list borrows some units from the core rulebook (Like the Leman Russ, Leman Russ Vanquisher, infantry stats, etc).
However, since the core rulebook is free to download, I don't think that's a terrible thing.
Note that the missing units do have their stats repeated in the reference chart for completenesses sake.

Btw E&C, I think that it would be better to divide the unit lists in two. One section for new and one section for the rulebook units. Would help those people that want to print only new units and not the old ones.
The rulebook units aren't in the Minervan list at all right now...
I hope that the MW gets dropped. As I have a feeling that I would need to do a such a sub-list for tooninki so that he could use it in a tournament here .
I'm pretty much resolved to return the Demolisher to AP3+ / AT4+ Ignores Cover.

As I said, the rulebook units will only be included in a reference sheet, which will only be on a single page, and will have all the minervan units in one place.
