And Scouts don't use Rhinos if you look in the Codex. But in Epic they do. So what?
Powerarmoured Veterans are more justified to use LandRaiders as say Tactical or Devastator Squads.

Correct me if I'm being dumb today, but why does the Land Raider have (Tactical) listed as one of the types of units it can carry, when the army list doesn't allow Tactical Marines to take Land Raiders? Was the Land Raider supposed to be able to be used as an upgrade by Tactical formations, and someone left it off the list? Never really thought about it until now... |

I believe the answer was that transport units were listed with all the infantry units they "could" carry. The idea being, that there would be future lists with other configurations and that not everyone played "tournament" style games. |

Yup. What Consectari said. Unit stats = what a unit can do. Army list = what a unit might do in this particular force org. LRs can carry Tac marines, but whether Codex guidance or simply SM tradition, most commanders don't do it. |

Hmmmmm. Should this be reconsidered when the army list reviews happen, since Land Raiders have become more available (In 40k army lists) in the years since the E:A armylists were written? |

The codex list is really an air drop list, LR's for tacs would be more of a ground thing operating away from orbital support perhaps? |

Well perhaps that's something that the rules review should fix... the airdrop bias in a list that purports to be a list that is balanced for both airdropping and ground deployments. Perhaps allowing LR's as an upgrade for Tacs could be part of that move. Just a thought. |

Erm...Terminators ARE Veterans. The 1st Company is the only company with attached LandRaiders for all their Squads, regardess of Terminator or PowerArmour. All other companies must use LandRaiders from the armory. |
