I've posted this at SG as well. Is there currently an Army Champion for the Black Templars, and is there any development going on with the army list? Regards, Reaver |

Yes, there is an AC for BT. It is Famous Moose, he produced the current version of BT. I did some playtesting to assist and also applied for the AC position. Not much has happened in about five months, he said he has made more changes, however nothing forthcoming in the way of a list. There are some BT posts in the Experimental Rules section of SG, pretty much somes up what went on with the BT list. Cheers CAL |

Thanks for the information! I'm just starting a BT army for Epic, and didn't want to sort out the models to buy / convert if the list was about to change again. I'll try to get hold of Famous Moose and see what's happening. Thanks, Reaver |

AFAIK, Andy didn't officially announce that Famous Moose was the champion. He didn't request feedback from the ERC as he normally does when appointing an AC (not that he's required to). Overall, I'm not sure bout his "official" AC status but he's definitely the closest thing at the moment. As far as I'm concerned, he's the person to direct any feedback to. FM has obviously done quite a bit of playtesting and work on the list and I've yet to hear any significant complaints about the version Andy posted. I haven't played it but the commentary I've followed makes sense and fits with what I would have expected after reading the army list. I think he's doing good work. |
