Are Marine Dreadnoughts still sold with a multi-melta as one of the included weapon arms?
I've some vague thoughts of trying out a multi-melta / power fist dreadnought in some games, since the stats for multi-meltas already exist.
Anyways, just a random thought that might be relevent since Dreads have been debated a little lately.

Yes, the pack I bought recently included a multi melta dread.

Yeah I thought they did.
So, reckon Multi-Melta dreadnoughts would be balanced?

I don't see why not. It's not as if they're overpowered as it is. Halving the range to get a MW attack seems fair.

I've painted some up, but as yet have not fielded them in a game. And I was thinking along the same lines of using the existing MM stats.
Cheers CAL

Seems reasonable to me. It's not like they're super-indurant or particularly fast. They'd make nasty nasty drop-troops I'd imagine and support-fire troops, but they seem like a reasonable idea to me. Be a good reason to put them in with a formation of Terminators on a Landing Craft since they could add 2 more MW fire-fight attacks.
