Hi, I was wondering if any marine players ever tried this method. Fire off some deathwind drop pods at a pre-determined area, hopefully wipeout or supress the enemy and then land your T-hawks and LC. I just finished watching "We Were Soldiers Once", hence the question.
Thanks

In some ways, I have always imagined that when I set down a pod and say there is a drop, what you describe as happening with the deathwinds is part of what happens. The game abstracts it, but that is the image I have always had.
Deathwinds clear some space for a short time to allow the troops to get out of their pods.
